Blue Moose Designs operates on a modern print-on-demand production model, allowing every item to be custom made only after an order is placed. This process eliminates inventory waste, provides flexible order quantities, and ensures every product is made specifically for you using the latest technology in digital and mechanical fabrication.

How Print-On-Demand Works

When an order is placed, the design is automatically prepared for production using digital file management and color-calibrated workflows. The job is then routed to the appropriate production department — such as garment printing, embroidery, signage, or large-format fabrication — depending on the type of product. Each piece is individually produced, inspected for quality, and shipped directly to you or your customer.

This on-demand system provides the efficiency of modern automation with the craftsmanship of a traditional production house — enabling small runs, rapid fulfillment, and consistent quality without the need for minimum order quantities.

Printing & Fabrication Methods

Blue Moose Designs uses a wide range of advanced printing and production technologies to meet diverse needs, including:

  • Direct-to-Film (DTF) Printing: High-resolution digital garment transfers offering vibrant color, smooth gradients, and flexible prints suitable for cotton, blends, and performance fabrics.
  • Embroidery: Professional machine embroidery with digitally optimized stitch mapping for consistent results and thread durability.
  • Sublimation Printing: Full-color dye infusion for mugs, plaques, signage, and polyester materials, producing permanent, fade-resistant prints.
  • Screen Printing: Traditional multi-layer ink printing ideal for high-volume or specialty applications requiring long-lasting, opaque color.
  • Heat Transfer Vinyl: Applied using precision heat presses to ensure long-lasting adhesion on garments, accessories, and signage.
  • Large Format Printing: UV-stable solvent and latex-based printing for banners, decals, wall graphics, and vehicle applications.
  • 3D Printing: Additive manufacturing using high-strength polymers and composites for custom parts, display elements, and prototypes.
  • Laser Engraving & Cutting: CO₂, fiber, and UV systems for fine engraving and precision cutting on materials like metal, wood, acrylic, and glass.

File & Artwork Preparation

For best results, artwork should be submitted in vector format (AI, EPS, PDF, or SVG) or high-resolution raster (300 DPI minimum at print size). Images should be in CMYK color mode unless otherwise specified. Files that do not meet these standards may result in reduced print quality or color accuracy. Blue Moose Designs is not responsible for output variations caused by low-quality or improperly formatted files.

Color & Material Variations

Slight color or finish variations may occur between print methods, substrates, and production runs due to differences in materials, coatings, and lighting conditions. Blue Moose Designs uses calibrated color profiles and professional-grade equipment to achieve the most accurate possible reproduction, but perfect color matching cannot be guaranteed across all materials.

Turnaround Times

Standard production times vary depending on the complexity and volume of your order. Most on-demand products are produced within 3–7 business days, with larger or specialty projects requiring additional lead time. Rush service may be available upon request, subject to production capacity and material availability.

Fulfillment & Shipping

Completed products are shipped directly from our production facility to you or your end customer. Tracking information will be provided once the order has been dispatched. Blue Moose Designs partners with reputable carriers to ensure prompt and reliable delivery; however, transit delays caused by carriers or external factors are outside our control.

Every Blue Moose Designs product passes through multiple quality control checks before leaving our facility. Our goal is to deliver professional, retail-quality results with each order — whether it’s a single custom shirt, a full signage project, or a multi-component commercial fabrication.
